7th Time Loop The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy Review
Quick Summary:
The story follows Rishe, a protagonist who has experienced six past lives, each ending in tragedy, and is now on her seventh attempt. She leverages the knowledge and skills accumulated from her previous lives to navigate her current one while trying to avoid another disastrous outcome. This anime combines themes of fantasy, romance, and political intrigue, setting it apart from typical entries in the genre.
Thoughts:
I absolutely loved 7th Time Loop. The series masterfully combines fantasy, romance, and a strong lead character to create a unique spin on the villainess reincarnation trope. Rishe is such a compelling protagonist—strong, intelligent, and fiercely independent. Her relationship with Prince Arnold is intriguing, growing organically from animosity to mutual respect and romance.
The animation was gorgeous, especially in key moments like the dance scenes and the character designs, which stayed true to the light novel. However, I’ll admit that the first episode felt a bit slow to get through. Once it picked up, though, it became an unforgettable journey.
I’m left wanting more, and I truly hope there’s a second season in the works! Rishe’s story deserves more screen time, and there’s so much potential left to explore.
